Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 31, 2025

I am committed to making my personal blog, Beyond the Logos, accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability. I am actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of my website and in doing so, adhere to available standards and guidelines.

My Goal

I aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

What I’m Doing

I am continually working to improve the user experience, and this includes:

  • Readable Text: Ensuring all text is clear and has sufficient color contrast.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Making sure the site can be navigated using a keyboard.
  • Image Descriptions: Adding “alt text” to images so screen readers can describe them.
  • Simple Structure: Using clear headings to organize content and make it easier to follow.

Known Limitations

I am aware that some parts of this website may not be fully accessible:

  • Third-Party Content: Some embedded content, such as YouTube videos or content from other sites, may not fully conform to my accessibility standards.
  • Older Content: Some of my older posts, published before I began my accessibility efforts, may not be as accessible as new content.

I am working to address these issues over time.
